This series will look at the growing relationship between four women. How their lives have been changed and are changing as the explore the ups and downs, the discovery and missteps, the joys and pains of finding someone else. Overview This is a story about women, FOUR (this series welcomes a new player in the game) who come together to keep a city and the world in general safe. It is a cross over between the TV version of Birds of Prey and the X-Files. The timing for Dana Scully is about three to four years after the last season of X-Files and treats most of the seasons as canon but then things change a bit after that. The timing is just under two years after the last episode of Birds of Prey with the fallout from Harley Quinn still very much on everyone's mind. -------- This is the third story in the series – the other chapters can be found at the story web site http://home.comcast.net/~jstratton1/storywebsite/wholenewworld/index.htm This picks up some time after Dana came to the city as the new Director of the New Gotham FBI field office. Finding she shared a similar focus in tracking down a pair of serial killers, she soon became part of the Birds' world as they worked together to bring the killers to justice. Along the way Dana found friends, a new home, a new way to approach her work and a new love interest, Kate O'Reilly, an artist and meta as well. Now the four women are exploring new pathways as they weave through the daily grind. But of course being a superhero ain't easy. And when you stop looking over your shoulder is when the past comes back to kick you right in the butt.
