The front Speakers are DYI built around The BG 75 full range 75" ribbon. They are used in a monopole configuration x-over at 125 Hz to two Scan Speak 18W8545K's loaded into 9' transmission lines.The x-over is active and includes equalization and phase compensation. It is a custom version of the CRX 22 sold by Audio-X-Treme. The BG/SS combo is crossed over to a Genesis 900-sub woofer at 60 Hz. The in room response is -3dB at 16 Hz. The side & rear speakers are BG 50" ribbons mated with single SS 8545's in Quasi-dipole enclosures. They are passively crossed over at 200hz. The source material is all digital. (Sony DVD 7000, Pioneer DLV 900, and Camelot CD player). The front Speakers are powered by a matched and tweaked pair of Adcom GFA 5800's. The center is a DYI utilizing 1 Seas Concentric Driver and 2 modified Vifa's. The sides, rears. and centers are driven by 2 Adcom GFA 5503's. The pre-amp is a Lexicon DC1 with AC3 and DTS. There is also a Genesis Time Lens and a Lexicon RF demodulator.
