Sometime during 1999, I purchased Winlok to help program decoders.  I discovered that it had a Pascal based language for railroad automation.  So I got a DS54, some BD1 block dectectors and installed them.

I finally did a get a routine written that would run my Doodlebug from a station in one town around about 70% of the railraod and stop at a station in a second town.  I also recorded some conductor announcements and used the Playsound command to announce All Aboard and next stop messages as the train made its may from Station to Station.   Thats all gone now, lost to the current major rebuild of the railroad and its focus on operations.

DS54's now drive signal heads and DS64's drive turnouts which can be controlled locally or remotely from the CTC panel created with the JMRI PanelPro tools set..  This section highlights the current state and how I got there.
