Jane Clemons has been a member of the Bridgewater State College Alumni Chamber Choir since 2005.  She is a 1973 graduate of BSC and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  Her teaching experience includes eight years as a third grade teacher and more than 20 years as a private instructor providing lessons on piano and guitar.  She has been an accompanist for the Whitman-Hanson Regional High School Chorus and for the Hanson Middle School Chorus.  She also has taught music at the Hope Christian School in Whitman. 

Jane is very active in the music ministry at the First Congregational Church in Hanson where she has led the Vacation Bible School music program for the past 27 years and where she served as the Children's Choir Director for 12 years.  She has been a member of the church choir for over 40 years.  Presently, Jane is the Music Director of the Adult and Youth Handbell Choirs and she plays guitar in the Worship Band.
