11-10-09 Thank you all so much for joining us for our Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup. We picked up a total of 19 bags in under one hour!!! It was a fun and beautiful morning! Thank you again, Annie Gross and Sue Overley
   
11-10-09 BOXES FOR THE TROOPS FOR CHRISTMAS: Boxes to fill and mail with
goodies for our troops are available at the Merc and First Community Bank. Ideas for items to include and instructions for mailing are attached to the boxes. They need to be mailed by December 1. ~Sharon Masterson, Chair, Community Service Committee

It was a delight to give the 2009 Outstanding Service Award
to Sharon Masterson yesterday. Sharon's dedication to Jardineros and to the Placitas community made her selection as the award recipient an easy one for the board. We will miss her so much when she moves to Tulsa, but she goes with our very best wishes for happiness in her new home.

11-3-09 Holiday Party: Sunday, December 6th will be the Jardineros de Placitas Holiday Party at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort. $50 per person. Music by Inside Out Productions - play a cabaret type of music. NEW THIS YEAR: You can reserve a table in your name by reserving the entire table for $500 (10 people). You then collect the $50 per person from those at your table. Menu choice will need to be submitted to reservations chair. ~Pam Buethe

Ladies,

First, on behalf of Sandy Pilcher, Ellen Baker, Deborah Neuman, Janice Dunsirn and myself, we want to thank you for electing us to serve as your officers for the upcoming year. We will do our best for Jardineros de Placitas and hope to make 2010 the best year yet.

I have been working on the 2010 committee assignments from the signup sheets, and we are in desperate need of some help on some committees as well as hostesses. Please remember this is your club and it needs your help to be the best it can be. As with a lot of organizations, it seems that a few do the work of many, but the club can only be at its best when it has the help and support of everyone. As we start another year, please consider an active role in the Jardineros by being a Committee Chair, Committee Member or Hostess. Please let me know in which of the following areas you can help:
