Dear Ladies,

Last year the Optimist Club de Sandoval along with five other organizations and Jardineros de Placitas provided families with a complete box of food for a Holiday dinner, articles of clothing, and at least one toy for each child. Together we helped 93 families celebrate the Holiday. We expect that the number of families will grow to 100 families. Again this year we are partnering with the Las Placitas Presbyterian Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and the Sandoval County Sheriff's department.

This year the Jardineros' Community Service Committee is asking you to join in and help this endeavor, if you choose. Can you donate a turkey? If so, we have made arrangements at T & T in Bernalillo. The cost for an 18 pound turkey is $13.00.

Attached is a coupon to bring to T & T. These forms will also be available at our next Jardineros meeting and at T & T. They will hold all the turkeys until we need them. If you have any questions, please call Nancy Hawks at 771 4931.

Mr. Joe Torres, owner of T & T store in Bernalillo, has generously agreed to work with the Jardineros and St. Vincent de Paul and the Presbyterian Church to help those families in need.

This coupon will entitle the bearer to purchase one turkey (18-20 lbs.) at the special price of $13.00 for the Blessings Day Project, to distribute to families in need in our area during the Holidays.
