Animal Humane in Albuquerque and the Humane Society in Rio Rancho!!
Mike is the former announcer of the Westminster Dog Show. |
He was great and read each dog's biography, creatively written
by Sue Markewitz,
Susan Fullas, Sue Overley , Betty Temple, and Diane Shelfer.
Jaclyn Sinclair
and Boni Galarneau
gave an excellent presentation on adopting pets and caring for
them. They also discussed their organization, Animal Humane.
They brought thirteen of the "adoptees." Tina Swanson from Rio Rancho Humane
Society also participated and she brought the first two "adoptees."
Several precious little kittens were also present and available
for adoption.
Animal Humane is an independent, nonprofit organization and is
not and never has been the Animal Humane Society, Albuquerque
Humane Society, or "the one on Lomas." They provide
and foster lifelong animal + human relationships. They also provide
the following services:
" Sheltering and adoptions
" New Mexico's first low-cost veterinary clinic for qualifying
families in need
" Behavior helpline and rehabilitation
" High volume spay/neutering
" Emergency pet sheltering for victims of domestic violence
and the homeless
" Community Outreach/Humane Education
Thanks to Sue
Markewitz, Sue Overley, Betty Temple, Susan Fullas, and Diane
