the Board meeting of May 24, 2007, it was decided that beginning
with the July 2007 meeting the minutes from the last meeting
will no longer be read. There are several reasons for this: 1) Minutes are on the website. For members who do not have access to the website, printed copies of the minutes of the last meeting (only) will be made available at the regular meetings. 2) Very often, by the time the minutes are read at a meeting, much of the significant information is out of date. 3) In the interests of saving time at monthly meetings. 4) The official meeting minutes shall be kept by the Recording Secretary for the official club record. 5) Any issues that required a vote at the prior meeting will be briefly announced by the Secretary ~The 2007 Board of Directors |
