The Nominating Committee will be meeting to select candidates for the Jardineros officers for 2010 on August 26.
If you are interested in being considered please contact a member of the committee.
If you would like to nominate a candidate, please talk to that person prior to submitting her name for consideration.

From the Bylaws, Article VIII, Section 9: "A Nominating Committee consisting of five (5) members shall be elected by the membership at the October meeting. This Committee shall prepare a slate of officers to be presented to the members at the following October meeting. The Nominating Committee shall also submit to the Board of Directors a slate of names for filling vacancies as may occur among the Officers throughout the year."

From Standing Policies, item 7: "The Nominating Committee should have at least one former officer as a member. The purpose of this is to provide continuity to the Club from year to year."
