Dear Pam, Thank you so much for your donation to our volunteer service organization. We will use your $------ to help in our efforts for the people of our community. Jardineros and the Optimist Club are doing the same work, are we not? Through our organizations, we extend our ability to aid others. It's nice to continue our alliance of several years. I hope you know to call upon us any time you find a need we can help meet. Again thank you for your continued support. Sincerely, (signed by) Suzann Owings

Note dated May 1, 2005: Dear Jardineros, The Placitas Pre-Kindergarten
program is very grateful for your support. the PPK is Placitas's
only actual pre-school schooling program with an arduous and
fun curriculum. This next year we will be adopting the Core Knowlege
scope and sequence, and the Minnesota Get It! Got It! Go! assessment
tool. Your contribution will assist in both these efforts. We all are very proud of Kasey Says and the Pre-Kindergarten and of our relationship with Jardineros, the Rotary, our Chambers, and our many other projects. Thank you for sharing the good works. Sincerely, Your Optimist Club de Sandoval Optimist Creed that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. |

Note dated April 2, 2005, read at monthly meeting: Dear Jardineros, As you well know, it takes a village to maintain a village, and a lot of volunteers. We very much appreciate your donation to two of our children's programs: the Placitas Pre-Kindergarten and "Kasey Says." Children are another garden, which we all work and from which we all hope to harvest a marvelous future. Thank you for joining us in helping the children of our village. Your emotional and financial support is greatly valued. Thank you. Sincerely, (signed by) Suzann Owings
