Card from Casa Rosa Food Bank: Dear Ladies, Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Because of you we are helping to eliminate hunger in Placitas. Currently we have 44 families we are helping with 52 children. Many have lost their jobs with the collapse of the building industry. All the families are struggling with the cost and lack of utilities and many have health problems. The love and thankfulness they give back is awesome. Thank you for making calls, telling others about the drive, and helping the flow of donors go smoothly at the drive. With your help, we were able to collect 70 blood products and also had 13 new donors! As a result, more than 100 lives will be saved.
