Second Round
The Eagles have 2 second round picks.
Back to back picks. Same needs different round.
- Dallas Clark--- TE . If the Eagles don't
get Witten in the first. They'll be looking for a TE. Dallas
Clark is a good one. He is 6-4, 250 lbs with good hands and is very
good after the catch.
- Terry Pierce --- ILB . This is not a great draft
for Inside Linebackers. Although Pierce is one of the two good ones.
If the Eagles don't get EJ in the first or Terry here, they should
forget about ILB for the rest of the draft and concentrate elsewhere.
- Willis McGahee ---RB . With one of the 2
picks here, the Eagles should pick McGahee. He was going to be drafted
top ten before tearing his ACL and MCL in the National Championship game.
Most teams will can't take the early chance on picking a player still
rehabilitating. The Eagles have that luxury and should take
him. He is quick, strong and hits the holes fast. Doctors are
saying he could be ready fot this season but the Eagles don't have to rush
him back. Should be way better than either Buckhalter or Duece.
- Cory Redding--- DE . At 6-4 and 275 lbs,
he can provide the Eagles with some defensive line help. He is
a hustler who never stop his motor. The fans would love his relentless
pursuit.
- Teyo Johnson ---WR . At 6-7, 245 lb , the
Eagles like him but not as a WR but a TE. There still might take a
chance on him and convert him to TE.
- Anquan Boldin ---WR. He has the speed the
Eagles have wanted at WR. An explosive and elusive WR who would also fit
the West Coast offense.
The other players that the Eagles have shown interest in
are Tyler Brayton and DeWayne White, both Defensive Ends. Borh are
deserving of a second round pick. i would have no issues with either
of these players.
