Quarterbacks

  1.  Carson Palmer -  This 6-5 , 235 lb senior from USC is quite possibly the number one pick overall in the 2003 draft.  The Heisman Trophy winner is one of the top QB's in the draft.  Great size. He will not last more than a couple of picks of the first round.
  2. Bryon Leftwich -  This 6-0 , 250 lb senior from Marshall is another top flight QB from this draft. He could easily be selected as the number one overall pick too.  He's that good.  Again, taken within the  top 5 picks overall.
  3. Dave Ragone - This 6-4, 240 lb senior form Louisville will be a first round selection.  He has the size and the strength to be a pro QB on the NFL.
  4. Rex Grossman - This 6-1 , 220 lb junior from Florida could possibly get drafted in the late first round but it looks like the second from here .  Not having a senior year means more development time.
  5. Chris Simms - This 6 -3 , 215 lb senior from Texas is another highly rated QB but certainly a second tier QB.  He will probably be selected in the second or third round. Having a father named Phil won't hurt his chances.
