All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

Vigil for Peace
July 11th @ 7 PM in front of the Harford County Courthouse
commemorating 4100th death of an American Soldier in Iraq
45 South Main St Bel Air Md  (PRINT FLYER)

As most of you have realized we have come upon the 4100th death of an American soldier in Iraq. As the media continues to ignore the war, it has become increasingly important for the peace groups across the country to continue to unite and speak out against the war.  As the presidential election approaches it is more important than ever to encourage voters to vote for peace.

We are very fortunate to have a Gold Star mother, Tracey Miller speak to us at our upcoming vigil.  She lost her son in Iraq on Nov 14, 2004. As always, hearing someone so personally touched by the war is a reminder of why we must continue this battle to stop the war and the destruction that it creates everyday it is allowed to continue.

We hope you have the opportunity to come to the vigil and hear Tracey speak. If you would like the opportunity to meet Tracey before she speaks at the vigil let Mike or I know and we will be glad to introduce you to her. Also, we have attached a flyer promoting the event if you have access to a bulletin board at your work or church.
Peace to you and your families,
    Mike and Susan

Note:  We DO Respect and honor families who have lost loved ones and may not agree with us.  If they support the war; everyone must cope and come to terms with their loss.  We respect them for doing so.
