Our current regular Hourly Rate is $25 plus media costs.
Media cost is usually $100, regardless of the project. This will give 2 hours of 24-track audio. Even more time with less than 24-tracks per song. There is no charge for CD-Rs, up to a reasonable amount.
If required, we will provide more general rates. However, we prefer to try and steer away from that. We find it much more beneficial and cost effective for the artist when we are very flexible with our rates, based on their individual project(s). We encourage and prefer inquirers to visit us to take a look at our studio. After getting some details of your up-coming project, we can give you a quote on the spot.
For example, if something like 45 hours is needed, we might find $975 to be more appropriate. That's less than $22/hr! Or, for a first time client looking to record only a song or two and needs up to about 8 hours, we would likely charge a flat fee of $100 with no media cost.
