Jul 1 2004 - I terminated the wires that go from the Princeton converter boxes to the tank BNC connectors. After chopping off the end that came with the boxes, I fed the wire through a small nylon bushing and then cut off the excess 2 or 3 feet of wire. Here the end has been stripped and crimped to a very small ring terminal. The shield is not connected at all, just the center conductor.

A couple layers of shrink tubing were added next.

The original connectors were screw together parts from Radio Shack. I bought a couple replacements and in this shot the terminal is screwed into the center conductor.

The supplied cover is then snapped in place. The insides are potted to keep the wire from moving around. Ready to calibrate the zero point.
