Jan 13 2004 - The prop arrives! This is a Whirl Wind 151 prop. I especially like the crate. I can use this prop even with my electronic ignition since I popped for the counter weighted crankshaft. Otherwise this prop would not be approved for use with either an electronic ignition or high compression pistons.

Here it is with the lid off. The top and bottom were ply and the rest was just thick cardboard. The spinner backplate is ready to go, everything is torqued and safety wired.

A not great shot of the prop installed. I'll get another one with better light outside. The paint is gloss white with red tips and a nickel leading edge.

The back of the blades are matte black. The finish is superb. Now it's on to the cowl...
