Mar 30 2003 - I finished up a lot of fitting in the mid cabin area. I wanted to get the cabin sills in place since they pull the longerons in a little up front and I wanted to get the spacing firmed up before fitting the front top skin. I placed the rear top skin in place but have not started drilling yet.

Here is a view forward with the front seat back in place and the rollbar just clamped. I'm just testing the sacing of the longerons and the rollbar fit. Everything looks good so far.

The seat back plate fabricated and fit. There is a slight twist to the weldment that I'm going to have to work on before mounting permanently.

I also fit the flap motor in place and like many (all?) others the motor hits the cover.

Here you can see the interference. Not as bad as some are reporting, but since I need more room when the motor is up as shown here, moving the cover bottom inboard will not help. I'm debating cutting off the mounting tab and having a new one welded on about 1/8" to 3/16" outboard. There is tons of room outboard.

A shot looking into the rear baggage compartment. I'm still wavering on fitting nutplates in the floor so the panels can be removed. We'll see.....
