Mar 2 2003 - Fit the rear baggage compartment parts. Waiting on some rivets before installing all the nutplates.

Fabricated the control column rear mount.

After finally getting the wire runs to the tail finished up, I did the final prep work on the rear plate and angles. They are riveted on here except for the elevator stops which are to wait until the horizontal stabilizer is installed.

I have started fitting the front baggage parts. Just clecoed together at his point. I'll start on the fitting and drilling next time.

Mar 6 2003 - Fit the horizontal stabilizer to the fuselage. All measurements came out perfect when done with all angles within the .1 degree accuracy of my SmartLevel and a tape from the firewall shows a perfect distance to each tip.

All bolts centered up nicely with good edge distance on all.

I did, however, make a new F810C angle since the last bolt hole I started to drill to final size moved off center from my initial 3/32" hole. I also took the opportunity to make the angle a little longer and fit it into the corners tighter which gave better edge distance on those outer bolts. Junk nuts rather than the good AN365 locknuts until final assembly.
