Draw a straight line on the previously stripped segment ant cut with a Japanese saw. This photo shows one side done and sawing the other. Then insert the strip to fill the void. Done! |

Dovetailing of the ends lets you proceed at a ferocious
pace. They are trimmed off after the completion of the hull and planed/sanded
smooth.

After trimming the ends of the dovetailed strips, plane the edge and apply the stem bands. Here I have used Redwood cut to 1/8" -1/16" thick. As you can see, use the tape as the clamps. |

After completion of the stem bands. Plane and sand until
you get a fair surface and curve. Be sure not to make the radius too tight.
If you do the glass will not bend to the curvature you have created.
