
WKRP's images are kept very simple and uncluttered which makes it easier for the student to recognize and remember their salient features.

Story: When Mom takes you to the doctor, he asks you to open your mouth and say, "Ahh". The visual cue is the open mouth.

Story: The "t" and "h" are always fighting, so teacher tells them to stay together and get along. But they can't because the "t" keeps sticking its tongue out at the "h". (The "th" sound is made with the tongue between the teeth.)

Story: Que el estudiante piense en una visita al medico. Al estudiante
le duele la garganta. El médico quiere examinarle la garganta. El
médico dice "Abra la boca y diga /a/ ". El estudiante abre la boca
y dice /a/. La clave visual es la boca abierta.
