A couple of weeks ago a colleague asked me to be there mentor. Over the past couple of years I have really enjoyed coaching within my teams. Watching a group of people come together and work as a team to deliver something, can really be exciting. Is coaching/mentor similiar to running a project team?
The mentoring meeting today focused on many different areas. The GTD principles (ie: 40,000 foot level, "Mind Like Water" and write it down) kept surfacing over and over again. Utilizing the
MindManager mapping tool allowed us to quickly get the idea's down, without loosing track of the conversation.
What a fun meeting!!!!
