Know Thy Enemy - Part 1: The Home Front.

Well, the moral relativists and fifth columnists are gearing up for full mobilization already…that did not take long.

From fringe ultra-left journalists to bored, nihilist, wannabee's from the Campuses of Rutgers, Princeton, Cambridge, Berkeley (you know, the usual suspects) the defeatist, fantasy world drivel of post-modern beatniks is sliming its way to a protest near you.

Just watch over the next few weeks how this current batch of homegrown social carbuncles is assimilated into the global coalition of Anti-American demonstrators we already know so painfully well from numerous WTO and IMF protests.

This loose collection of eco-terrorists, anarchists, communists (yup, still a few around - no one told them that their bankrupt economics have been abandoned yet), and other assorted anti-globalization nut bags is never one to pass up on an easy opportunity. For them and their ilk, the resolve of America to once again step forward to save the world presents the perfect platform from which to launch their assaults.

War's are fought on many fronts - Osama Bin Ladin knew how to hit us militarily in an attempt to paralyze the nation and wreak havoc on our economy. These Neo-hippies will strike at the U.S. psyche and will. They already have. Their tactics and arsenal will be diverse. We can expect everything from mob style protests ala-Seattle and Montreal, to pontification on the "evils" of America from fringe pundits masquerading as objective journalists. Maybe we'll even get a few tactical strikes by the Earth Liberation Front (The ELF - you know, those happy, well adjusted, sociopaths who like burn down Colorado ski resorts and Suburban family homes in NY to avenge wronged muskrats and displaced squirrels).

Their goal is to undermine the resolve and direction of America through the planting and nurturing of self-doubt, self-loathing, and defeatism. "We cannot win this war." "We'll just make it worse" "Give peace a chance!" "We brought this on ourselves!". "Americans are the real terrorists!" etc., etc., ad nauseam.

At the same time as this war of words is being fought, other elements of this movement will be attempting to instill confusion and fear through violent mob protests in our cities and maybe even random terrorist attacks in our suburbs.

Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing - and aside from the more physically destructive aspects of this "war for the nations soul" that I am predicting, I support the right of freedom loving peoples to disagree. Unfortunately, I do not believe many of these people, especially their chief organizers, are freedom loving. Nor do I have high hopes that they will be altogether peaceful. We shall see. In any case, it is my opinion that their philosophies and methods are dangerous to the security of this nation and the liberties that security protects.

Maybe some are misguided, maybe some are simply ignorant, and maybe some are truly bent on our destruction. Either way, I don't give a damn. Their efforts represent a clear and present danger to the strength of our resolve and our unity and they cannot be allowed that victory.

Be on guard.
