An Excel spreadsheet
“ssSummary.xls” has been developed to provide post-Sweepstakes analysis of
contest logs. The features of ssSummary.xls are:
- Log “imported’ into ssSummary.xls by opening the Cabrillo
log file as an Excel spread sheet and copying / pasting the “QSO:” entries
into the “LogInput” sheet.
- The “Report” sheet contains:
- Identification of the log being reported
(contest date, call letters, mode, precedence, check and section).
- Number of Qso’s in the
log (including dupes)
- Number of Qso’s made
by Running.
- Number of Qso’s made
by Search and Pounce
- Number of Qso’s made
on the second radio while Running
- Number of Band Changes made during the contest
- Number of QRP (Q), Low Power (A), High Power
(B), Unlimited (U), of Multi-Operator (M) and School (S) stations worked
- A distribution chart of Check by year
- Number of stations worked on each band
- Number of stations worked in each of the top 17
sections.
- A chart showing the ten minute rate (Qso’s per hour), band, and “Running” for the entire
contest.
- Capable of analyzing logs with up to 1500
entries.
- Does not report the score or operating time. Does
not remove dupes. Your logging program does that.
