SPECIAL DEGREE CYCLE
Opening of Chapter
Chapter and Council Degrees conferred
Refreshments

By Dispensation of the MEGHP, Royce Watson, Druid Chapter will hold
a special Convocation for the purpose of conferring the four Chapter Degrees.
Usually, Druid does not confer all four degrees in a single day, but we do
so on this occasion to accommodate the schedule of Bro. & Dr. Hans Wilhelmsen,
Deputy of the Scottish Rite in Maryland who desires to the York Rite Degrees
in Druid Chapter. There are many other candidates who have elected to
join us on this date. Other Chapter are bringing candidates also,
to assist in their degree work.

As always, Druid will work in full costume, and will confer the
Most Excellent Master Degree in the old form. New veils have been
purchased, and lights for new effects in the Royal Arch Degree. Music is
being prepared. Lunch will be available at a modest price between degrees.

Hiram Council will confer the Cryptic Degrees in the afternoon. If you know
of a likely candidate, get a petition into the Chapter by the January Convocation,
or call the Secretary to reserve space in this special Degree Day.

Companions,

We are looking for more work to do in the Chapter. You can help by talking to your Blue Lodge brothers about the York Rite. Remind them that the story in the Third Degree is left with a question. Let them know that only in the York Rite they can find out the answer to the Lost Word. It is also the logical progression for any Brother who wants to learn more about Masonry and King Solomon's Temple. Sign them up now!

The Grand York Rite Website is - http://members.aol.com/WWYORKRITE/Maryland.html
Check out this site for information on events and publications in the state.

Should you have input for our Web site, forward it to:
Companion Jack Biggs for inclusion to: k3sp@hotmail.com

Please make an effort to say "hi!"

Fraternally,
Richard P. Naegele, PHP
Most Excellent High Priest

Who is a good candidate for the York Rite?

Any Mason who has been touched by the ritual work in our Blue Lodges.
Officers and Past Masters would have a particularly attraction
to our work. Do you know someone who might appreciate the
next step in Masonry?

Give them the gift of a lifetime. A petition!
