PACKs RACING
The
NASCAR Late Model Stock Cars (LMSC) are based on two-door American sedan production
models from 1982-1997. The vehicles, which run on 10-inch wide racing slicks,
are assembled by a variety of professional chassis manufacturers. Engines no larger
than 358 cubic-inch displacement are permitted in the cars.
The LMSCs race against competitors for NASCAR Weekly Racing Series points at
100 tracks throughout the nation. This division regularly runs 75-lap features,
with 100- and 200-lap specials sprinkled in throughout the year. The
Late Model division, presented by Dodge, is the top weekly short track division
all across the nation. Competing in Late Models prepares you for the next step
to the Busch Series.
