J.J. has 10 years in Mini-stock, J.J. had 15 top five finishes - five of which were second place finishes.

To gain experience at other tracks, he raced the Pro-Mod 4 class before moving on to the Legends series, where he gained road course experience. He has now progressed to the next level – the Late Model division – where he is gaining experience with a V-8 engine and a whole new group of competitors.

Award at MARF Banquet

At the Old Dominion Speedway awards banquet in 2001, J.J. won the trophy for “Most Improved Driver”. Later that year, he won the trophy for “Most Improved Driver” from MARF (Metropolitan Auto Racing Fans club).

J.J.’s ultimate goal is to drive in the Winston Cup series. Driving in the Late Model division brings him one step closer to this goal.
