its running 1600-1800w now out no problem on 80, 40, 20m with about 40w input.
It needs a front panel make over
28vdc relay board piggybacked on the Tetrode boards, some HV wiring placement, and the
tube socket with the glitch resistor, plate choke and assorted goodies on the socket
I bread boarded the HV indicator circuit using 2 LM3915's (I'll use 4 or 5 total for) for a 40 or 50 led bar
display, here are 20 leds lit from input voltage, they vary as a bar...with voltage input. Need to figure out how to
tap the bleeder resistors to get the correct voltage to the display. easy resistor divider circuit...
OLD AMP pics: above changes will clean this all up, more bands, better control
This is the original construction section
amp based on JH2CLV's 6m gu-84b amp. see his web page at
http://www5a.biglobe.ne.jp/~jh2clv/gu84b6mmaking.htm
the only part I didn't do was the case and the transformers, all the rest was hand made
(and some of it looks like that LOL)
