WELCOME TO THE NEW INTERNATIONAL NATIVE & METIS WOMEN'S COUNCIL!!!

MISSION STATEMENT   

                                                                                                                

DEAR SISTERS AND FRIENDS.  WE ARE A NATIVE AMERICAN AND METISSE BASED ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO WOMEN OF ALL NATIONS IN ORDER TO FURTHER ASSIST ABORIGINAL PEOPLES OF THIS CONTINENT OF AMERICA, BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH TO OBTAIN RECOGNITION BY THE WORLD'S NATIONS IN A JUST AND FIT MANNER.

While we recognize that the First Instructions which were given to all the
original peoples of this land and were further defined in The Great Law of
Peace...for the whole world to benefit  from , we have therefore determined
to put our mind's at one in the way of this Great Peace.......
 
The instructions are defined as follows:

 1)To live by the Great Law to the best of our understanding of it.
 

 2)To study the Great Law so as to understand it better.
 

 3)To live by the Creator's First Instructions which were:

     To do  harm to no one and to no thing.
     To respect all of life; including the creatures, four leggeds, the
     wingeds; the fishies; the trees, plants and flowers;

     to respect the four elements, fire,  air, earth and water;

     to respect the land which is our Mother Earth;
     the elder brother sun/father sky; the Grandmother Moon;

     and our  brothers and sisters; the stars;

     respect the stones; the minerals; the mountains, the wind and
     the four seasons.

     Even respect the creepy crawlys, for all of these are all our relatives.
    

     Therefore Do not tamper with no one and no thing or the spirit of it.
    

     To council with one another and to take care of each other
 

     Live in harmony with all of life!
 

     Respect your Elders.
