I give an bequeath to Mari my wife all that dowri or ______ mutually agreed upon before marriage out of my estate, all the rest of my lands, goods, tenements I give and bequeath to my 5 sons and my two daughters as followeth:
First I give to Samuel Hatch my sun al that lot as he livs upone that is an hundred and twenty acres of upland more or less and ten acres of meadow or marsh land more or less bounded towards the land of John Magoun westerly towards the North river northerly towards the land of Edward Wanton, Easterly towards the common lands. All this land above mentioned with whatsoever other of my lands I shall give I give it to him and to the heirs begotten of his body forever from generation to generation to the world's end never to be sold nor mortgaged from my children nor grandchildren forever.
I give and bequeath all my lands I live upon with the houses and housing "barne" or barns, upland and meadow gardens and orchard that is to say all my lot or lots lying between the lands of Thomas Lapham on the North and Edward Wanton on the south Easterly to the common lands and Westerly to the river. All this land above mentioned lands, orchards and meadows, housing and gardens I give and bequeath to Antipas hatch my son and to the heirs begotten of his body forever from generation to generation forever never to be sold nor mortgaged from my children or grandchildren forever.
To my three youngest sons John Hatch, Israel Hatch and Joseph Hatch I give and bequeath all my great lot at Taunton river on the easterly side of the river lying between the land of Master (Hayward?) Barri towards the south and the land of Master Line in the occupation of Master Simmons towards the North.
All my other lands or lands in Scituate undissposed of I give and bequeath to my two eldest sons Samuel Hatch and Antipas Hatch to them and the heirs of their bodies forever never to be sold nor mortgaged from my children nor grandchildren forever form generation to generation to the worlds end that is to say all such land or lands as are or hereafter shall be mine by grant gift or purchase with all the common rights and rights as belong to me and my lands in the township of Sittewate.
Furthermore I give and bequeath all my moveable estate by sea and land; money goods chattel household goods, cattle, horesflesh, swine, beeas, axes, hoes and all other tools of what sort soever with all the rest of my moveable estate by sea and land I give and bequeath to my five sons and two daughters, Samuel Hatch, Antipas Hatch, John Hatch, Israel Hatch and Joseph Hatch, and Jane Sherman and Bethia Hatch, their sisters all this above-mentioned estate I give to be equally divided to every one an equal proportion that is to say, sons and daughters alike share of the moveable estate. Furthermore it is my will that they pay all my debts and leagcies and receive all my debts and dus wheresoever and give me a decent and comely buriell. Amen.
