(Assistant) Good afternoon and welcome! As we will be beginning shortly I would ask that those of you with cell phones to please turn them off or switch them to vibrate at this time. Thank you
"Although this is their day, it is also a tribute to all of you. For knowing you and interacting with you has helped to make our Bride and Groom who they needed to be to find each other. They would like to thank you all for that. All of you are the threads which have woven the tapestry of their lives. Each one of you is an important piece in the story it tells. It is the fabric that they wrap around themselves and take comfort in when the world seems cold. And on days like today when everything is right in their world, that tapestry is proudly spread out and displayed for everyone to see, with all the glorious colors and textures that your diversity adds. You all hold a place in their hearts reserved for those that they have chosen to call 'Family' and they are deeply grateful for each and every one of you here today."
Groom enters hall and takes his place, the music begins and bride is escorted by her father to her place at the altar.
Welcome to the beginning of your lives together, we stand at the crossroads of a new path. From here, your lives will be changed and bettered by your love for each other. The promises made here today and the ties that are bound will greatly strengthen your union. They will cross the years and each soul’s growth. Do you still wish to enter into this ceremony? Couple: We do. Who gives their blessings to this union?
(Father of the Bride) I and my family give our blessings. Thank you, please join your family.
(Officiate) For thousands of years lovers have exchanged rings as a token of their vows.
These simple gold bands are not of great value by themselves, but are made precious by our wearing of them. Your rings say that even in your uniqueness you have chosen to be bound together. Let these rings also be a sign that love has substance as well as soul, a present as well as a past, and that, despite its occasional sorrows, love is a circle of happiness, wonder, and delight.
Groom places ring on Bride’s finger: May this ring forever be to you the symbol of my growing love.
Bride places ring on Groom’s finger: May this ring forever be to you the symbol of my growing love.
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth for the other.
Now you are two persons, but there is only one life inside you.
Go now to your dwelling to enter the days of your life together.
And may your days be good, and long upon the earth.
You may now kiss your bride.
It is my blessed pleasure to present Mr. and Mrs.
