Karnataka Sangeetha Aradhana

Sri Ganesha Temple presents Trimurti Aradhana, a day-long festival of Carnatic music featuring the compositions of Sri Tyagaraja, Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar and Sri Shyama Shastri, performed by music lovers from Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky. All Kala Nivedanam music students participate in this annual event.

Monica Cooley performs a short dance and talks about Indian culture to young children as part of the "Week of the Young Child" educational program. This program was arranged through the auspices of the Global Education Center.


Vanderbilt Dance Program Spring Concert

The Vanderbilt Dance Program's Intermediate/Advanced Bharatatnatyam class performs at VDP's Spring Concert. This concert celebrates 30 years since the founding of the Vanderbilt Dance Program and features many styles of dance taught at VDP including Bharatanatyam, ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, Spanish, Middle Eastern, African, and Irish dance.
