Karen Electra Christianson

About the artist...

Karen is an 11th grade student at the Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, and she studies organ with Alan Morrison, chair of the organ department at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Karen maintains an active recital schedule and her original choral compositions have been performed in the US and abroad (click on "Events"). Her "Psalm of Thanksgiving", scored for soprano and alto voices with keyboard accompaniment, has been published by Hildegard Publishing Company in Philadelphia (catalogue number 392-01202; click here for a preview).
