A little about me...
My name is Karen Baird and I live in Hillsboro, Oregon with my husband Steve and our son Anthony. I grew up on a small farm in Oregon and always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. My breed is the Papillon, we got our first pet Papillon in 1996 and things just kind of took off from there. We became friends with a Papillon breeder and went to some shows and got hooked on training and showing our dogs in conformation and obedience and later agility. We have about one or two litters a year with our Papillons and breed to produce show dogs for ourselves, we currently have eight Paps. I have always been artistically inclined and I enjoy drawing and painting my dogs. I tried sculpting in 2001 and had good success at it, I managed to sell my sculptures on eBay for decent prices. I started out sculpting Papillons and have branched out to other breeds but I credit my love for the Papillon as the inspiration for my art.
