"As a volunteer in Olympia for the past seventeen years, I have served on most of the advisory committees that provide citizen input to the Olympia City Council. I've worked with the community in numerous public processes, conducted public hearings to listen to the concerns and ideas of hundreds of citizens. I have worked to resolve difficult public policy issues. This experience has prepared me to serve on the Council.

"I have been a resident of Olympia since 1986. At the Washington State University Energy Program I help public agencies save tax dollars by reducing waste of energy, water, and other resources. For me, public service is the highest calling, and I look forward to serving you on the Olympia City Council."
