I am running for City Council because I really love this community. Let’s work together to make it even better.

For seventeen years, I have volunteered on advisory committees that provide citizen input to the Olympia City Council. I have listened to the concerns and ideas of hundreds of citizens, and worked to resolve difficult public policy issues. I have successfully advocated for more parks and sidewalks. These experiences provide broad knowledge to serve on the Council.

At my work, I help public agencies save tax dollars by reducing waste of energy, water, and other resources. This expertise will help to stretch our budget dollars so that we can sustain the quality of life we all enjoy in Olympia. We can have affordable, high quality public services while we improve our downtown and neighborhoods.
