The Journey of Our Hearts

Ni Hao! (That means "Hello" in Chinese.)

My name is Taylor Lynn Pan Davis.

Welcome to my Web site!  My Mommy wanted to share our family's story and the special "Journey of the Heart" we undertook to come together, so she created this site.

You're probably wondering why such a BIG name, for a little girl.  Well, here's what it means:

"Taylor" was my Mommy's Maiden Name, so I get to carry it into the next generation.
"Lynn" was Mom's middle name that her Mommy and Daddy gave her.  (My Daddy likes this name and insisted that I have it too, since he calls my Doggie Sister "Tiana LYNN" when he REALLY wants to get her attention!).
"Pan" was the name given to me by my "Aunties" in the You Xian Welfare Home in the Hunan Province of China where I was lovingly nurtured for the first 10 months of my life.  It will help me remember my Chinese heritage and provide a link to my past.
"Davis" is to honor my Daddy, Grandpa Davis and all the other Davis' who have gone before us.

Now, to tell you a little bit about me:
I am now SIX years old!  I have a little sister named Kendal who is four.  We have lots of fun playing together.

I love kindergarten and am becoming quite a good reader.  I play the piano and violin and hope to take some art classes this summer.  Mommy and my teachers say I'm very talented.  I will be taking swimming lessons this summer and can't wait to get back into the pool!

My family took a very special vacation this year.  We went to Disney World - and we had a BLAST!

We have some exciting news:
Mommy and I have started a business!  It's called The Hearts Link Us. That may be how you found us - from our Web site: TheHeartsLink.Us.

"The Hearts Link Us" Bracelet was Mommy's brainstorm just before we traveled to Disney World.  She wanted to keep us safe, so I helped her design a bracelet with both "substance and style" as she says.   It has Mommy's cell phone number on it - and it looks pretty, too!  As you can probably guess, there are hearts on it and a story that comes with it.  And, we are proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds from each bracelet will be donated to the Children's Hope International Foundation, so we can help provide for my "sisters" who are still in China - awaiting their "Forever Families".

Join our family and explore the many aspects of our "Adoption Journey"!

Thank you for visiting my Web site.  And, if you can, please send me an email to help me get to know you better.  I promise I'll answer (or at least Mommy will until I can type a little better!)
