"To Preserve, Educate, Promote, and Enjoy Route 66 in Illinois"

The Route 66 Association of Illinois is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to preserving, promoting, and enjoying Route 66 in Illinois. Its members hail from all 50 states and five other continents. The Association sponsors the Route 66 Hall of Fame in McLean, stages an annual Chicago-St. Louis Motor Tour on the second weekend in June, and publishes a quarterly newsletter.
