Spring Clearing Contest Rules

OBJECT
Remove 100 tiles from your Scrabble board to your tile bag faster than anyone else.

PROCEDURE
1. Contestants will line up at a single row of tables.
2. At the signal, each contestant will remove the tiles from a board with their fingers, placing the tiles in a tile bag.
3. When all the tiles are in the bag, the bag will be held overhead.
4. Winners will be determined by the referee.
5. Winners must remove the tiles from the bag and arrange them on the board to show all 100 tiles were successfully removed.
6. Multiple rounds will be run to determine a final winner, if necessary.

RULES
1. This is an individual contest.
2. Your tiles may be arranged on the board in any pattern you wish, but must be oriented properly with only one tile per square.
3. Your board must remain flat on the table at all times.
4. All boards, tiles and tile bags used must be acceptable for tournament play and may not be adapted for this contest in any way.
5. No tools of any kind may be used. No nylon net, no magnets, no tape, no stickum. And for you MIT folks, absolutely no robots.
6. A contestant is disqualified if any tiles touch the table, floor or other surroundings.
