(updated

Kattalyst
maintains a small cattery, where our cats
and kittens are raised as pets.
While breeding to the CFA standard for top quality show prospects is our goal,
pet quality kittens are frequently available to approved homes.
Occasionally we list kittens who are not at our cattery, but with very close
friends of ours who we work with, and who we can highly recommend. (Their
kittens are raised like ours - as loving pets, and given vaccines and wellness
exams by their veterinarians). Many of their cats are closely related to ours!
Currently we have no
kittens available. We will not have kittens available again for at least 6
months.

Retired Adults!
Retired adults are extra special. They have lived
with us and we know their personalities well. We will work hard to make sure
they are the perfect match for their forever homes. These kitties generally bond
quickly with their owners, and make fabulous pets.
We have the following adults available to approved homes:
"Trinity"
- ebony tortoiseshell and white, Born April 7, 2009

Trinity is a
super sweet, chatty , silly adolescent who is a bit small, but thinks she's the biggest cat
in the house. She loves people as well as other cats and plays a lot and have
her belly rubbed. She has big, bright spashes of red and black on her back. She would be great with or without "Ella" (below).
"Ella"
- GC Kattalyst The Fifth Element

Ella is a sweet, easy going girl born
November 24, 2006. She is a beautiful blue spotted tabby spay.
She would be great with other cats, including Sugar (above). She loves to
play like a kitten and also to snuggle.
She is a real sweetheart of a girl.
"Patches"
- Kattalyst Moonlite Breeze
Patches is a bit of an enigma - she is a shy girl who
needs to be an only cat. I think she might do ok and come out of her shell
in an extremely quiet, patient home where she doesn't feel like she is competing
with another cat for attention. She is a lovely chocolate point and white
spay who was born on July 21, 2008.
Contact us is you think you would be
interested in taking a chance with Patches.
The following cat is not at our
cattery, but at a good friend just outside of New York City.

Kiki is a very pretty 3 year old blue
ticked tabby & white female. She's been a great Mom, but now she needs
to find a great forever home!
Kiki is a sweet girl who likes to sit on laps and purr, but isn't one of those
"in your face" type Orientals. She is a very well-behaved young
lady and a pleasure to have around!
Kiki would do best in a home with one or two other cats, and is also available
for placement with a kitten from us. Click
here to email Lynne about Kiki.

We will hopefully have kittens available again
in 8 months.
Please do not hesitate to email for information
on upcoming cats and kittens.
Please don't be offended if we ask you a lot of questions
before agreeing to sell you a kitten or older cat. We like to ensure that our kittens and cats go to warm loving homes where they
will have both their physical and emotional needs met.
Currently we do not have kittens available - we hope to have
kittens available again in 2010.
Please check back to see what we will have available and to be placed on
our waiting list.
We will be glad to recommend reputable breeders in your area who have other kittens
available.

Consider
a Rescue!
Sadly there are
occasionally Orientals in rescue
who are in need of loving homes. We are extremely active in rescue.

(Please note that these are NOT cats from our
cattery.)

Our waiting
list is maintained by e-mail and it is incumbent on the interested buyer to
maintain contact on a regular basis; we're happy to answer email inquiries with
an update on litter due dates
We require all potential "cat parents" to review and sign a
detailed sales contract. The contract is fairly detailed and states in
part that the cat must not be declawed or allowed outdoors and that kittens must
be spayed or neutered by eight months of age.
All kittens leave
fully vaccinated for FVRCP, and have been examined by my veterinarian
(Dr. Emily Jarvis, DVM) and with a health
and genetic health guarantee. Our cattery is FeLV and FIV negative. All of our cats are registered with CFA and sold with registration papers (upon
proof of spay/neuter).

Our first priority for our breeding program IS
our breeding program.
Determining which cats, if any, have breeding and/or show
potential can take time.
Because of this, those cats deemed to be show quality
or breed quality take priority over general pet waiting list. Therefore, we
reserve the right to not sell any cat until the time of sale. The determination
as to whether a kitten will be available will be made no later than 14 weeks of
age. Finding perfect homes for these babies is a major responsibility and one of the most difficult things we do. We screen thoroughly
until we are sure that our precious ones are in homes where they will be
cherished and pampered.
We know our babies and their needs better than anyone
and as such, we reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone at any time.
Finally,
Kattalyst cats are welcome back at anytime for any reason should you not be able
to keep your baby.
