A-2 to 5-P ACADEMY

The Mississippi Annual Conference’s Parish and Community Development Ministries and the Office of Congregational Development announced the creation of a 1-year year academy to assist “selected” churches in becoming healthier and more vital churches. This is an opportunity for “selected” churches/charges to engage in a 12-month process of assessment, reflection and renewal. They have become a member of the “A-2 to 5-P Academy.” The Academy is designed to connect the A-2 (Acts 2nd Chapter) Assessment Tool to Bishop Robert Schnase’s “Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations.” Churches enrolled in the Academy will receive coaching, a free copy of the Five Practices Media Kit and book, peer support, a grant and be recognized at the 2011 Mississippi Annual Conference.
