The Artistic License
Preamble
The intent of this document is to state the conditions under which a
Package
may be copied, such that the Copyright Holder maintains some semblance
of artistic
control over the development of the package, while giving the users of
the
package the right to use and distribute the Package in a more-or-less
customary
fashion, plus the right to make reasonable modifications.
Definitions:

"Package"
refers to the
collection of files distributed by the Copyright Holder, and
derivatives of
that collection of files created through textual modification.

Version" refers to

one of the following links. If you see random gibberish and do not see

"Save As" window, use your browser back arrow, then use the “Save
Target as” button on your browser. Under
Windows Internet Explorer, this is usually done by positioning the
mouse over
one of the links and pushing the right mouse button.
These are .zip files and you will need to
unzip them to extract their contents. The executables file contains
everything
in CATS to get you started (or upgrade), including manuals and the Crandic description as an example.

To use these programs under MacOS X, download the MAC launcher into the
JMRI directory
and unzip it. That will place two icons
in the JMRI directory. They facilitate
running CATS by double clicking on them.
