The loot system in Immortal Fellowship is designed to be fair to all, we use a combination Raid Points and /random system that will be based on attendance, and target.

In a perfect world we would not need a detailed system but in order to maintain fairness and prevent resentment we have drafted what we think is a fair system. It affords everyone the opportunity to gain some type of loot at every raid and it rewards those who put forth the most effort. It is based off of common sense, which in any reward system is the most important determining factor.

Eligibility

In order to spend your points you must be a full member of Immortal Fellowship. Initiates can accumulate RPs during their probationary period but for the purposes of loot distribution the flow will be thus: Member, Initiate, Guild Bank.

·        The length of probation for initiates is outlined in the charter.

·        In order to spend points you must have attended at least 20% of raids held in the past 30 days.

Accumulation –RPs are obtained the following way:

·        Any official raid announced in /gu chat or pre-planned on our forums by an officer of Immortal Fellowship.

·        It is the member’s responsibility to know what his/hers' point totals are. We will not tell you but we will have the list present at all raids. Point totals will be updated an available regularly for all members to view.

Attendance and Points

·        Attendance will be taken for every official raid. It will be gathered by the officers and recorded after the raid.

·        Being on time to the raid will net you 3pts off the bat, we like punctuality.

·        Members will earn 4pts for the first two hours of the raid and 2pts for each additional hour.

Purchasing Items

·        All loot will be dealt with at the time of the raid. However fabled and mythical loot will be auctioned with RP the rest will be /randomned.

·        When an item drops it will be looted by an officer and held until the end of the raid. After the raid over we will announce the loot and ask for bidders.

·        All bids will have a minimum opening bid. The raid leader/officer will announce opening bids for items.

·        Once the opening bid has been announced those who want the item will announce their bid in the channel specified. The auction will end with the highest bidder.

·        You cannot retract your bid, so once you type it that is it. You offered up your points.

·        In cases where there are two people with the exact same number of points, and they both want the item, they will /random for it. And the winner of that /random will be charged for the amount of the bid that was last bid.

·        When the item is won, the points are subtracted from the winner’s totals. Any others who may have bid on the item retain their points.

·        As stated in eligibility above you must have been present for at least 20% of raids in the past month in order to use your points.

·        When you purchase the item you will receive it and equip it and attune it to your character. An officer will inspect you once you equip it. There will be no purchasing of items that you can sell to line your own pocket. Anyone who wishes to only obtain loot for the profit is in the wrong guild.

·        There may be certain items which drop that though, equip able by several classes may be better served on another. For example a piece of heavy armor that has lots of power and wisdom may be restricted to templar/inquisitors instead of other plate wearing classes. The raid leader and officers present at the raid will determine this.

·        Being the only bidder on an item does not exclude you from spending points to gain the item. If you want something you must bid the min. amount in order to receive it.

·        Lastly and most importantly. We will not tolerate any kind of side deals you may conjure with other guild mates. Do not ask someone not to bid on something so that another member may get an item at a lower rate or so that another guildie may get an item before someone else. We will raid enough so that all members will acquire gear/items over time. If you are caught making side deals you will face the following possible consequences: points loss, suspension from raiding, or guild removal. We all earn points fairly and we all wish to use them fairly. We are a guild that is a family; do not cheat your family.

Decay

·        In order to prevent point hoarding and maintain fairness for all. A point decay system will be put in place for all members regardless of rank or number of points.

·        The rate of decay will be 5% of the total points and will be applied at the beginning of every calendar month.

Random

·        All non-fabled and non-mythical loot will be rolled on after the other loot is handed out. The officer/raid leader will announce the numbers.

·        All members should wait until told to roll.

Banked loot

·        If no one wants a piece of loot it will be banked.

·        At various times the leadership will announce auctions for the banked loot.

·        Members will be allowed to bid on the loot via the forums.

·        Banked fabled/mythical loot will always be on display for the members to see what is in the guild vault

·        Non-fabled/non-mythical loot can be purchased by coin for alts or personal use. The leadership may sell the consumables over time in order to purchase and maintain a guild house.

·        The current guild vault toons are Liandrin and Hedge.

Alts

This concludes Immortal Fellowship’s looting policy.

EDIT: added the points breakdown, after further discussion we arrived at 3pts for being on time, 4pts for the first two hours of the raid, and 2pts for each additional hour you are present.

EDIT: added the policy to reflect alts
