Kaleidoscope Candles started 10
years ago with a truckload of paper covered votives that a friend
of mine dropped off at my house instead of at the local dump. I
peeled off all of the paper and started melting down the votives
in hopes of making a candle that looked like a tortise shell. I
made pieces in various colors and poured scented wax over them and
that's how Kaleiscope Candles was born! I have been able to grow
this idea into a decade long stint at the
Fremont
Market in Seattle, Washington and many shows in and around the
Seattle area. My biggest hope was to make Kaleidoscope Candles into
a large enough home-based business so that I could be a stay-at-home
Dad. This dream became a reality and ten years later, my boys are
7 and 4. Now I'm hoping to lure my wife, Athena, away from her “real”
job and have this become a true family business. A warm thank you
to all who have supported Kaleidoscope Candles throughout the years
and have made my dreams possible.
Thanks,
Jim
