Membership into the Knights of Columbus is open to any Catholic man, over 18 years of age, who lives up to the Commandments of God and the Precepts of the Church.

St. Frances of Assisi Council with our 175 members, serve Queen of Apostles, Sacred Heart, and St. Joseph of Cupertino parishes. Our local council of Knights share with your community by providing funds and services to many charities and organizations.

What we do within the - Church

Support Vocational Programs and Seminarians
Support a Knights of Columbus Clergy Night Dinner at which a donation is made to the Bishop of San Jose
Support Queen of Apostles Expansion Program
Promote and Support the Pro-Life Program

What we do within the - Community

Collect funds for Mentally Handicaped Children
Gather food and cook for Martha's Kitchen
Support the Ascent Program (Employment)
Support the Cupertino Community Service (Local churches rotating shelter)
Sponser a Father's Day Pancake Breakfast
Support the DeAnza Foundation Children's Center July 4th Fund-raiser

What we do within the - Council and Membership

Participate in Fund-raiser for Knights of Columbus Retirement Homes
Sponser a Yearly Memorial Mass for Our Departed Brother Knights
Host a Past Grand Knight's Dinner
Host a Wife's Appreciation Dinner

What we do with our - Families and Youth

Support Junior Achievement
Sponser a Soccer or Softball Team
Compete in Annual K of C Basketball Free Throw contest
Provide Scholarships for three Catholic Schools (Essay Program)
Hold Monthly Social Family Gatherings
Host Annual Ice Cream Social (June)
Host a Christmas Dinner Party and a Children's Party
Host a Family Picnic
Hold a Halloween Party for the Children
Attend East - West Shriners Game
Hold Family Communion Breakfasts

Our Council runs the Monday night Bingo with the proceeds going to St. Joseph of Cupertino School.

The Knights of Columbus offer a family insurance program exclusively for members and their families. Because of their fraternal, nonprofit advantage, the premium rates are among the lowest in the industry.
