Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi: Lord make me an instrument of Thy peace.
: Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
: Where there is injury, pardon.
: Where there is doubt, faith.
: Where there is dispair, hope.
: Where there is darkness, light.
: Where there is sadness, joy.

: O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Prayer to St. Michael: St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
: be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
: May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do Thou,
: O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God,
: cast into hell, Satan and the other evil spirits,
: who prowl through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen
