Council 4981 Presented Star Council Award

Cupertino, CA - 15 September 2000.  K of C Council 4981 today was presented the Star Council Award for Columbian Year 1999 - 2000. The presentation was made at the Council's Past Grand Knight's Dinner. San Jose Chapter President Dave Walker presented the handsome plaque to Paul Muller, PGK. Attending with Dave Walker were worthy K of C dignataries including, Nes Barber, Bill Glover, Tony Perrella and Bud Parish. Council members with spouses and family filled the dinner facilites at the Blue Pheasant Resturant in Cupertino.

The award represents the Council's achievement of recruiting new members and meeting the goal set out by Supreme Headquarters. A letter from the Supreme Knight, Virgil C. Dechant was sent to the Council in July.

Congratulations to all in the Council for this wonderful award, now the third time won!
