The Hossman Trophy, named for the late Michael “Hoss” Stradinger, is awarded to the annual winner of NFL Pick ‘Em.  The winners name is engraved into the trophy as a permanent record of their championship.  The Spirit of Football, honoring the late Mary L. Oppy, is awarded to the player that most exemplifies the spirit of our game.  Players submit nominations for this award during the playoffs and the commissioner makes a selection based on those nominations.  Both awards were generously donated to the game by Major Richard Stradinger and his lovely wife, Carolyn (who, with their daughter Laurel, almost kicked all our butts in 2006).
