Welcome to my personal web site!

Well, I've been meaning to update this web site for about a year now. It has been sitting for nearly a year with little or no modification, so I guess it's time now.

I apologize, in advance for the poor lack of planning on my part regarding this site. I am just beginning to get the knack of it. Also, some pages will be slower to load than others and I apologize to anyone using a dial-up connection. I don't want to do a lot of advertising on my site as I don't like that when I visit others, but I will say that Comcast is my internet service provider (and web host) and if you are looking for a good, fast, reliable Internet Service Provider (ISP), check them out. If you didn't already know this, Comcast is the carrier for AOL's high-speed service. OK - enough said about that. While I'm on the subject of apologies, I need to say a word about my site looking different in different browsers. Mostly I use MS Internet Explorer, but I also use Netscape®. Just for the fun of it, the other night, I visited my own site using Netscape® and noticed that things look a little different. I don't understand all I know about this and I'm not going to pretend to, so all I can say is that it is similar, but not exactly the same. I have not even tried to look at it using AOL, so if any of you are using AOL, let me know if something does not display properly, OK? Feel free to use the feedback button on the left or email me. I'm still confused about 'frames', so when you go to the TrampDrafter page, it doesn't 'release' the frames. I'll work on that later.

One last note: You may notice some web addresses in various photo galleries here that are not 'hot-linked'. That is to say that nothing happens when you click on them. I have not yet figured out how to get hot links into the photo descriptions, so until that happens, you'll have to copy and paste into your browser address windows. Sorry about that. I'm working on it. This is very time consuming, but it's not that difficult. I'm hoping that more of you will create your own web sites after seeing this one. I will be happy to link your site to mine as that is more or less the intent of my "Favorites" section.
