Grammy

This is my mother's mother. She spent her last years living in a castle in Oregon, organizing events & activities for fellow seniors and teaching children.

My Parents

We never had family portraits when I was a kid, so you can imagine how happy I was to get this.

Aunts

I'm going to have to ask for my dad's input here. I think I see Lola & Emily, but I'm not sure about the others.

Dad

Almost every Eastridge man has served his country. Dad is retired USAF. Like his father before him, he is very mechanically inclined, constructive & inventive. I hope some of that rubbed off.

My older Brother

He is also retired from the USAF. Now he's interested in computers & music. We don't talk much anymore, but I hear from my parents that he is very busy with his family and learning more about Windows XP every day.

My Daughter

I was surprised when she told me that she had enlisted in the USMC. Shes on the east coast now, but said she's interested in coming to the west coast. That would be great.

Mike, Keevin & Gail

This shot was taken in our front yard, circa 1965. Can you believe how skinny we all were?

Kids & Rambler

We brought the Rambler back from Japan with us. Then we put the whole family in that little car & drove all over the USA on a 30-day leave.

My USMC pic

I can't say that joining the USMC was the best thing I ever did, but it taught me a lot in a short period of time. Some of the lessons learned are still with me to this day.

Home on Leave from Boot Camp

After finishing boot camp, I went home for a few days. I really don't remember much about this, but someone was busy taking photos.

Me At Sea-Tac

It's funny to think that my son just arrived at Sea-Tac after completing boot camp in Georgia. I'll have to see if I can find some pics.

Senior Pic

This is my senior photo. I went from long hair to buzz cut when I joined the USMC.

Grad pic

As with many of these photos, this one is faded. One of these days when I have nothing to do I will try to clear them up a bit, but this will have to do for now.

Keevin, Jodie, & Grammy

Jodie was a friend during my senior year in school. I went to her graduation & she came to mine. I don't really remember why we stopped seeing each other - maybe something to do with me being a 'geek' and her being in the 'cool' crowd.

June 24, 1983

Who says long hair & 3-piece pinstripe suits don't mix? My 1977 Harley Davidson Lowrider was right behind uswhen we got married. It was a great day with many friends there.

Cooking-101; Mudpies

My mom tells me that I was making mudpies. I don't remember this, but I do like cooking & entertaining.

Life in Maine

It might not look good, but when it's cold outside (and I mean really cold), it helps keep you warm. I miss the people in Maine, but not the long, cold winters.

Keevin the Car Salesman

This is from 1989 when I moved back here with Bethany. I worked at Titus Will selling Ford, Toyota, Daihatsu, and Hyundai. It's an interesting profession & it taught me a lot.

Promo Shot

When I worked at Titus Will, they used to have photographers hanging around and taking pictures while we were trying to work. All things considered, it was an interesting job.

Grammy holding Karen

Karen is the youngest of four. The house in the background is the one that I'm looking to buy. It hasn't changed much since it was built in 1957, so there's plenty of work that needs to be done. A woman's touch would also help.

Dad & Grammy

This is in front of our house in '65. I am looking to buy that same house if I can. Right now, it's the sore spot in the neighborhood, but I know how to change that.

Bethany

My ex-wife (the nice one). Last I heard, she's living in Honolulu with her new husband and has had another child. I wish them the best of luck.

Nephew

Bethany's nephew. This is one of those precious shots that I really like getting. I think it was his first attempt to throw something.
